Our Mission

As the United Nations' office in Washington, D.C., the UN Information Center serves as the focal point for UN news and information to advance understanding of the UN and it's work, and to serve as a resource for United States government officials, NGOs, civil-society organizations and the American people.

Our Office

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: 1775 K Street, NW.  We are located at the intersection of 18th and K Streets NW.

Metro: Our offices are one block from both Farragut North on the red line (K Street exit) and Farragut West on the orange and blue lines (18th Street exit).

Visitors: All guests must stop at the security desk and will need photo ID.  Groups of five or more need to submit a list to our office for prescreening.
